OxyPod

OXYPOD is a Zero Electricity Sewage treatment technology which aims to meet present and future sewage treatment requirements at centralized and decentralized level. OXYPOD uses natural process for waste water aeration and biological aid for degradation of organics present in sewage.

The unique design of OXYPOD is based on a combination of Anaerobic and Aerobic processes. Anaerobic process is conducted using an OXYPOD – AN Tower or any other suitable process and Aerobic treatment is done using OXYPOD – AE Tower.       

Salient features of OXYPOD are:

  • Both OXYPOD versions do not engage any kind of major electricity use except a simple sewage pump if required.

  • Both OXYPOD process can be used as complementary to one another for better synergy of treatment. As neither of the treatment process is energy intensive in nature – there is no major OPEX involved in the same.

  • OXYPOD’s fixed film process minimizes sludge generation & optimizes bacterial degradation of organics.

  • OXYPOD for sewage comes with its own proprietary blend of bacterial culture specially designed for Zero Electricity sewage treatment application.

  • Life of OXYPOD attached growth media is more than 5 - 10 years and its replacement cost is negligible compared to energy saving achieved during this time.
